My coaching is about having the hard and courageous conversations to help you create a strong, sustainable recovery and wellness. Working with you to develop workable, manageable plans to support your ongoing recovery from addiction, substance use, behavioural, and mental health disorders.

Please feel free to spend some time on my website, and get in touch if you have any questions! I am here to help you...and get you moving in the right direction.

I believe that our stories shouldn't define us and we need to be careful of the stories that we tell ourselves! Those can be a whole lot of BS too! My story is still evolving and I believe that the more we work on ourselves, the we get out of life!  Personal development and growth are an ongoing gift that I give myself as I move through these uncertain, unfolding chapters.

As a master coach I have had so many opportunities to use coaching to help people that are invested in creating connection with themselves and those that they love and respect.  With a business and education background, coaching has been an integral part of my own personal and professional process. I am so grateful to have put together more than 16 years of lived experience in recovery, and continue to work on my personal recovery and wellness on a daily basis.

I have completed numerous coaching training, including:

  • IMCSA Master Coach Certification

  • U-ACT Certified Professional Recovery Coach

  • U-ACT Certified Professional Facilitator

  • Starting Point Master Recovery Coach

  • Inner Life Skills Life and Business Coach

I completed a Bachelor of Social Science Degree (Management and Economics) at Rhodes, University. I continue to attend coaching courses and I am fascinated by the Neuroscience of Coaching. I completed this course in 2022 through Coaches Rising, and continue to self-study and focus on areas such as mindfulness, neuroscience, psychedelic-assisted therapy, trauma, and the current work of individuals such as Gabor Mate, Brene Brown, Andrew Huberman, Susan David, Adam Grant, Nicole le Pera, Daniel Siegl, and their contemporaries. I am a life-long learner with a strong value for knowledge and education, and spend time studying, reading, and listening to improve my knowledge around substance use, addiction, mental health, human behaviour, and how the human mind works so to better assist and support my clients in their recovery and wellness processes.

My own recovery and  wellness are strongly based on the empowering process of coaching, which ensures that I am clear on my personal and professional needs, wants and values and I am able to communicate them with courage and authenticity to the people in my life. Being congruently connected to my purpose and meaning, ensures that I am able to combine my values of education, authenticity and creating sustainable change to work with you in a unique and client-centered way.  My story continues and my coaching is constantly evolving as my work expands and deepens.  With me learning, and growing and always striving to be an authentic, courageous woman.

Acudetox

Acudetox (auricular acupuncture) is designed to support physical, mental and emotional healing. It eases the physical and emotional symptoms that individuals who are detoxing from habit-forming substances experience. It also supports general well-being and lessens feelings of anxiety and stress, and is helpful for the easing of mental health conditions and insomnia.
